Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy covers cancellations of orders not yet dispatched, with a cut-off of 2:00 PM MST on the dispatch day. Once an order ships, it is handled under the Return & Refund Policy.
1) Overview
This policy outlines the process for cancelling orders that have not yet been dispatched. Customers who have placed an order may request cancellation under the specified conditions.
2) Cancellation Window
Cancellation requests must reach support before 2:00 PM MST on the dispatch day. Orders not yet dispatched can be cancelled; once dispatched, the order is handled under the Return & Refund Policy.
3) How to Cancel an Order
- Email support@barknbites.us with the order ID, customer name, and reason for cancellation; or call +1 312-265-1205 during Monday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST). Closed: Sunday & US Public Holidays.
- Support replies within 1 business day.
- Once approved, the refund follows the timing described in section 5 below.
4) Post-Shipment Cancellations
Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. To proceed, please follow our Return & Refund Policy; the return window is 30 days from the date of delivery.
5) Refund After Cancellation
For approved cancellations before dispatch, refunds are issued to the original payment method in USD within 5 business days after cancellation approval. The customer’s bank may add 1–2 additional business days before the refund appears on the statement.
6) Cancellation Fees
Bark N' Bites does not charge cancellation, processing, or restocking fees for orders cancelled before dispatch. Customers receive a full refund of the order amount paid. Bark N' Bites does not split or partially refund pre-dispatch cancellations; the refund is always for the full order amount.
7) Order Modifications
Modifications to a placed order (address change, size or quantity change, item swap) must reach support before 2:00 PM MST on the dispatch day, via the same email or phone channels above. Modifications after dispatch are handled under the Return & Refund Policy.
